Successful suturing techniques for modern dental practice Tuesday 16th March 2010
Efficient and effective suturing is important in oral surgery, periodontology and implant dentistry. This course demonstrates and gives hands on practical training in efficient suture techniques, to help make your surgery quicker and stress free. Suture pads are used to simulate soft tissue and a variety of different instruments and materials are available for use. The course is supported by General Medical.

Sinus Grafting and Block Bone Grafting Thursday 22nd and Friday 23rd April 2010
This course is designed for experienced Implant Clinicians who wish to understand the basis and techniques of Bone Grafting and Sinus Augmentation. This 2 day course features live patient surgeries demonstrating the principles of treating compromised hard and soft tissue sites. After the live demonstration participants carry out simulated surgery using pig jaws and sheep heads to allow maximum understanding of surgical procedure. Piezo surgery, connective tissue grafting and using CT and Simplant software in surgical planning are also covered in this comprehensive course. This course is supported by Dentsply Friadent, General Medical and Geistlich.
