Tushar graduated from Newcastle Dental School in 1983 and has 25 years experience in general dental practice. He is committed to ongoing continued professional development and postgraduate qualifications in Clinical Restorative Dental Practice from the Eastman Hospital.
In June 2007 he achieved Specialist Diploma qualification in Dental implantology at the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He is a course tutor on the Royal College of Surgeons of England Implantology course at Leeds Dental Institute and is also the Senior Clinical Assistant in Orthodontics at Southend General Hospital.
He is a member of the Clinical Performance Advisory Group, British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and is a mentor for the Association of Dental Implantologists.
Angela Nketia, Specialist Periodontist
BDS MFDS (Eng) MSc MClin Dent (Perio) MRD RCS (Edin)

Obtained her BDS from Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital in 1998 and after qualifying gained some years of experience in general dental practice in London. She then joined the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Ipswich Hospital and subsequent to that she was a staff grade oral surgeon at Guy’s Hospital in London where she was involved in the teaching of the undergraduates. It was at this time that she completed her MFDS qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons.
After completing MFDS she then started the four year specialist training program in Periodontology at Guy’s Hospital; this included all aspects of non-surgical and surgical techniques in periodontology, implantology and scientific research. She completed the course with an MSc (Distinction), Master of Clinical Dentistry (University of London) and the Membership in Restorative Dentistry Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. She is on the specialist register for periodontology with the General Dental Council.
At CDRC Angela accepts referrals for all aspects of periodontology. The treatments that she will provide include non-surgical and surgical periodontal techniques, including regeneration, mucogingival soft tissue management, adjunctive antimicrobial therapy and crown lengthening. In addition to her activity at the Centre she will continue to teach the undergraduate students in the department of Periodontology at Guy’s hospital.
Angela is committed to continually updating her knowledge of the literature on current periodontal techniques.
